Why/How working with youth adds value to her life: Working with youth provides me this sense of accomplishment, growth, resiliency, humility, happiness, and hope. Working with youth I am able to continue to learn and grow from my interactions with the youth! I am able to teach and role model valuable social, emotional and gross motor skills to our youth.
Her REACH inspirational moment/success story: Creating an activity that connects our older community members with the youth of our community. The connections, relationships, and social skills that both the youth & our community are engaging in are priceless and will last a lifetime! They are invaluable experiences that are needed for our community to thrive!
Ashley’s favorite REACH activity: My favorite REACH activity is connection our youth to nature!! I love seeing our youth get in the garden and outside! I also love connecting our youth to our community and creating meaningful relationships with our community!
Ashley’s Hobbies include: I love the outdoors and being in nature! When I am not working you will most likely see myself, my significant other, and our pups out on an adventure in nature!
